Mad River Outfitters and Ohio Fly Fishing guides offer a full, professional fly fishing guide service for Steelhead in Ohio and Pennsylvania......known worldwide as Steelhead Alley! The original and longest running guide service in the region.....since 1994. 

Ohio's Lake Erie steelhead trout fishery is maintained by stocking approximately 400,000 6- to 9-inch Little Manistee River strain steelhead trout in five tributaries (west to east): Vermilion River, Rocky River, Chagrin River, Grand River and Conneaut Creek. This strain of steelhead trout average 25” and 7 pounds after two summers of growth in Lake Erie, with many catches of MUCH larger fish. This world-class fishery provides terrific opportunities for floating or wading anglers to catch large lake-run fish right here in the Lake Erie region.

We offer a guide service for for Erie steelhead in both Ohio and Pennsylvania along "Steelhead Alley" and since 1994 have featured the "tributary talents" of some of the finest guides in the region. Headed-up by Josh Trammell and featuring the talents of Dustin White, Ryan Ratliff and Steve Pileski.

Ohio Fly Fishing Guides offers professional guide service for Steelhead Trout here in Ohio and Pennsylvania. We have been fishing and guiding professionally in the region since 1994. 

Let our guides show you the ins-and-outs of finding, understanding and catching the multitude of steelhead along the Lake Erie coastline. Our season runs from mid October  through late April and sometimes later. As with all of our guide trips, all terminal tackle and flies is included in your trip. 

Cost: $425.00 walk-in, $525.00 float trip, each per 1-2 anglers
$100.00 per additional angler on walk-ins

Season: Steelhead season is mid October through late April.
