Kelly Galloup's Articulated Fat Head is a monster of a fly! Basically a jointed Zoo Cougar. We believe he also refers to this fly as the Heifer Groomer. Here at the shop, this is a "go-to" for almost anything that swims in fresh water.

Designed for big trout but works equally as well on smallmouth and largemouth. To be honest, we typically use this more for largemouth and smallmouth around here than we do for trout....it's a killer and often overlooked fly.
Galloup's Articulated Fathead- (Heifer Groomer)- size 4 Predator style hook up front with a slightly smaller articulated behind. 4 red articulation beads on the wire. Color here is tan. This fly is just shy of 5" long.
