Dave Whitlock turned us on to these Chinese Rooster Necks from Wapsi a number of years ago. He was using them to tie his famous Matuka Sculpins and a few other flies.
These are the two colors he uses most and they make for some really great sculpins and matukas. The Olive is pretty straightforward with some good barring and the sculpin color is a bit more brown with good barring and black closer into the stem. (sculpin is pictured).
Really great feathers for tying up some cool looking sculpins and matukas.
