John Barr's Net Builder Caddis Larva has been one of our top selling nymphs for over 20 years now. This is an absolute best choice caddis larva imitation. We do believe that it was in Brian's original book on the Mad River and he has used it locally for years. We never leave home without this fly in our box.

The net builders, Hydropsyche and Cheumatopsyche caddis are the most prolific and therefore the most important Genus' throughout the country. Hands down. These flies are some of the most realistic imitations of those ever important larva.

This little nymph has caught more wild, wily brown trout for me than any other. If it's a pretty slow day, I tie this one on and usually instantly see action. Can't praise it enough!
