The Pieroway Renegade is an ultra compact switch series utilizing the latest in carbon fiber technology and designed to be highly functional in close quarters fly fishing situations. Every detail from the rod tapers and actions to the handle styles are designed to minimize the learning curve and maximize fishing performance for new switch anglers and the experienced two-handed caster alike. Each rod is designed to match with an ultra compact Skagit or Scandi line (recomendations below) that can then be tailored to a wide tip window for maximum versatility and absolutely no guess work.
Characterized by pewter colored blank, titanium guides with army green wraps, lightweight woven graphite reel seat and camouflaged rubberized cork handle with a removable bottom handle (3-5wt), this unique rod series gives the caster the option to use either handle style for easy two-handed casting or an awesome fighting butt. Simply remove the bottom handle to cast single hand Skagit or overhead without the bottom handle interfering with the running line. The Pieroway Renegade does it all with fluidity, precision and power.
All Pieroway Switch rods come with a padded square rod case, a cool camo rod sack and feature a lifetime unconditional warranty.
Pieroway Renegade R904- 9' 4wt- A wildly versatile "Trout Spey". This rod can handle just about any trout situation from dries, to nymphs to streamers. Still great for smaller waters but can handle the larger stuff as well.

Having a complete outfit is essential to your success out on the water. We've made it simple, so when you purchase the basics for your fly fishing outfit, we'll put it all together for you so you're ready to go.
Here's how it works:
• Purchase a Rod, Reel and Fly Line
• On the first page of the checkout process, click on the green Setup Reels/Outfits button (top and bottom of page).
• There you will find a tool where you can pair the three together and choose your backing color. No need to worry about the amount or size of backing as we'll take care of that for you. We know what to do.
• That's it!
From there, we'll load the appropriate amount and color of backing and the line on the reel for you (no need to buy backing). The backing, rigging and shipping is all on us. Free of charge.
Additional Information
• Fly Line Backing comes in 20lb and 30lb test. It also comes in white, fl. orange, blue, black, optic green, fl. yellow and red. Again, no need to make any decisions here other than what color you want.
• Reel retrieve is selected at the point of purchase on each reel. We will load the line onto the reel and make sure that the retrieve is set up as you selected.
