Parachute Frankenhopper

The Parachute Frankenhopper is a fly that we ran into a few years ago on our Montana Trip and it produced really well for us in Yellowstone and surrounding. We had the opportunity to bring it into the shop.....and we jumped on it.....or hopped on it.

It's a big, meaty foam fly with a wing over the top that includes just the right amount of sparkle. It also features grizzly silicone legs that really provide alot of movement, even when at rest. The orange parachute on top of course makes it easier to see, especially when fishing big water like the Madison or Yellowstone.

Of course a trout fly, but this one also has a big hook gap for a hopper and we have been using it around here for smallmouth as well.

The Parachute Frankenhopper comes in s size 6 and is sold here in tan, but also on the website in yellow as well.
