Rogue Foam Stone

The Rogue Foam Stone, here in the pteronarcys....or salmonfly version, is a fly that we have been selling for over 20 years now. It is a great selling fly, because it produces.  it is a great attractor style stoneflly pattern that combines a foam body with a "bullethead" style deerhair head and collar. Throw in some rubber legs and you have a winning combination.

This fly of course works well on trout where stoneflies are found, but has also proven itself as a great general attractor fly as well. The salmonfly version featured here is just big enough, and with enough hook gap to be a good surface bug for smallmouth around here.
