Sili Leg Stone

A basic, Sili Leg Stone here in brown and yellow body color. Great attractor/stonefly type nymph that is wildly popular out West, but certainly gaining popularity here in the East.

The fly is known by many names......Pat's Rubber Legs, Rubber Leg Stonefly, Jimmy Legs. It's basically a variation on an old Yuk Bug that is tied with variegated chenille that gives it a very buggy look. Our version here features the Silicone legs which give much more action than standard rubber legs. Also heavily weighted to it gets down quick.

Known as a specialty fly for high water or when stoneflies are active and hatching....but no rules.....use it when you feel it! Also a great fly to fish in tandem with a smaller nymph behind it, below an indicator of course.
