Whiting Farms American Hen Saddles are economical hen saddle patches that are full of useful feathers. Wide and webby, these saddle feathers are great for bass and saltwater patterns, wet flies, salmon, and steelhead. These saddles have a ton of feathers in a range of sizes and again, have a ton of uses. Streamers, matukas, fins, soft hackles, collars, throats, beards......you name it. For feather game changers, these saddles are how you get the variety of sizes to give the fly a natural taper. Can also be combined with other materials like Chocklett's Filler Flash to create some amazing baitfish patterns.
