Sob-Czech Nymph

This is the Sob-Czech Nymph. A fly pattern that is a general attractor that has the profile of grubs, larva and wide body mayflies. The colored hot collar and flash creates an interest in fish looking for food.

This one falls into the category of "Bomb Fly" as the tungsten bead is a size bigger than standard, which rockets the fly to the bottom. These are sought after as "Point Flies" or the 1st fly in a series. The slotted bead keeps it down deep and the jig hook keeps the hook point off the bottom. The spiky dubbing gives it lifelike movement and features a pinkish/red "hot spot" thread collar.
