From the mind of Phil Croff and our friends at Catch flies comes Croff's Nervous Neda. A hot new fly for the 2020 season that we have been playing with for a few years.
This is a big, articulated Mouse....or "thing" fly that may well be one of the best night flies ever created. Works during the day as well though. A big fat foam body tied almost "gurgler" style with the hook on the back articulated segment with a long rabbit strip tail.
Our own Brian Flechsig tested these on brookies up on Labrador and had great success "mousing". We've also had them in Alaska and here on our local waters for rainbows and browns. It's a really great fly that leaves a big wake and causes a ton of commotion and motion on the surface.
It's also an amazing largemouth bass fly. In fact, it's become a "go-to" for many around here for bucketmouths. Just killer! Don't go bass fishing, especially in the evening or night, without this fly.
