The Psycho Ant is pretty much just that. A big foam "ant" pattern on steriods. Maybe had a bit too much Tequila as well. This has become a great searching pattern for us in the Summer months for trout and bluegill and also has worked well for us on our Montana trips in the Summer. A great choice when a "chubby" type fly is required.
Black foam body overtop some synthetic peacock herl.....floats like a cork. Some brown and purple grizzly round rubber legs, black hackle and a white poly/sparkle hi-vis wing. Just a really buggy looking fly that has now earned a spot in the bin here at MRO.
