Flip Pallot turned us onto this stuff a few years ago and we have fallen in love with it for building "Contact" leaders for both floating and sinking lines. This new blend of nylon has the perfect balance of knot strength, suppleness, durability and abrasion resistance. We refer to the stiffness on this stuff as "Medium Stiff". Somewhere between Maxima Clear and Maxima Ultragreen if you are familiar.
Smaller sized spools are ideal for wade anglers fishing the flats and larger spools to keep in the boat or truck. ***60-20lb is on the larger spools and 16-8lb is on the smaller, standard sized tippet spools. Just so you know what to expect!!!
