Mad Bomber Chironomid Black & Red

So many to choose from, but this midge is another must have. Best deployed when the midges are coming up and the trout are feeding at the edges. 

Large "bomber" chironomids as they are called by stillwater anglers can be a very important food source for both trout and panfish. We like to fish these flies on a floating line with an indicator or on an intermediate stillwater style fly line.
