Whiting Farms Hebert Miner Hen Saddle

The Hebert Miner line from Whiting Farms has always been known for their beautiful natural colors. The Hebert Miner Hen Saddles are no exception. 

These Hebert Miner Hen Saddles are long and more slender than most hen saddles. They consist of a gorgeous natural sheen with an awesome, soft and webby texture that makes perfect collars on nymphs and soft hackles.  

Recently our favorite use for these feathers are when tying Gamechanger style flies. Most commonly they make great tails on classic FGC's and are absolutely perfect when tying flat knife blade style tails on Jerk Changers. They are also great for Micro FGC's and for the first couple of shanks when you need a smaller more narrow feather that you can't find on American Hen. 

No matter what you like to tie, you will want to have one of these in your feather arsenal. At that price, maybe two or three!
