Tim Jacobs is a popular demonstration tyer at various fishing shows including The Fly Fishing Show. He is a retired teacher and works as an instructor at the Michigan Youth Trout Camp each Summer. He is an FFF-Certified casting instructor and guide, and a member of the Whiting Farms Pro Team. His articles have appeared in Midwest Fly Fishing Magazine and other publications. He is the author or "Tying and Fishing Deer Hair Flies" and contributed to "Modern Terrestrials". He lives in Castle, Colorado.
