MRO Custom Nymph Leader- Trout

Mad River Outfitters Custom Nymph "Butt Sections" as shown in many of our YouTube videos. An excellent choice for high-stick nymphing, especially with strike indicators and  split-shot if needed. These are hand-tied for us right here in Columbus, Ohio. A Mad River Outfitters exclusive!

A three part, high-vis butt section here with a loop on one end and a tippet ring on the other. Simply add 2-4' (or more if desired) of tippet to create a 9-11' nymph leader. Having the tippet ring on there allows you to add tippet over and over without cutting into the taper. This is the "trout" version which works well for 2-5wt rods and 3X-6X tippets.

This leader is designed specifically for tuck casting nymphs and indicators. Not at all designed to lay out straight......just so you know. Those that understand how and why on these will greatly appreciate!

2' .012" Maxima Ultragreen
2' .009" Maxima Ultragreen (2X)
2 mm Tippet Ring

Simply add 2-4' of 3X- 6X tippet and you are ready to go.

One leader per package and they do come with a perfection loop in the butt and tippet ring on the front end.
