The new fiberglass rod has been tweaked to perfection to imitate the load of a standard "long rod". The yarn used is also highly technical......6 feet of yarn outside the tip weights approximately the same as 30' of fly line. Each foot of yarn represents 5' of fly line.........so 5' of line outside the tip of this rod is EXACTLY the same stroke and rhythm as casting 25' of fly line. Genius!!
