The famous Red Quill tied Catskill style. This is a traditional imitation of the Hendrickson family of bugs. Although there are many other "modern" Hendrickson patterns, this is one that we still carry around with us and it consistently produces fish during this prime hatch.
This is an excellent fly pattern for eastern Hendrickson hatches and for the western mayfly hatches of the rithrogena and the cinygmula mayflies. Developed in the 1940's by Art Flick this pattern has been around a long time.
The Red Quill dry fly is sold here in the most popular size 14
