Flip showed us this TFO/Mangrove leader wallet many, many years ago and now we can't live without it. Now updated and upgraded yet again for 2022!
Flip and Lefty designed this leader wallet originally for the "Mangrove" line of products that were distributed by TFO. They quit making them a few years back so we had to go it alone to get them done. We have now had them custom made for us exclusively right here in Columbus, Ohio and have made a few minor changes, and upgraded the velcro and fabric. Now features the Mad River Outfitters logo on the front as well!
The outside 4 pockets measure 4" X 4" and the two in the middle measure 4" X 6". They will hold standard tippet spools and larger Maxima spools. They WILL NOT hold the larger spools such as Rio Saltwater, Rio Fluoroflex Plus or for example the larger Cortland Mono Wheels. These can although be stored in the zippered pocket.

* 1000D Cordura
* 400d Yellow Packcloth on the inside
* YKK Zippers
* Larger holes in the mesh pockets for better visibility
* Thinner utility rope to accommodate smaller tools
* Reinforced/redesigned White tabs for labeling and ease of use
* Less "grippy" velcro for easier opening of compartments
* Woven MRO label with white space dedicated for labeling the leader wallet (Trout, Bass, Salt etc.)
This innovative leader/spool wallet holds six + leader wheels and has a full length bellows pocket for nippers, pliers, glue etc. Perfect leader storage for larger wheels like Maxima..... a must have for anbody who builds their own leaders. Freshwater or saltwater.
Overall measurements are 9 1/2" X 6 1/2" X 1" (empty). When opened it is 16 1/2".
Once we show these things to folks in our "Knots and Leaders" class...they buy it!
