Thin Skin is .004" thick and can be used on almost any size fly. It is stretchable and transparent with a matte finish on one side and a shiny finish on the other. The backing makes it easy to cut to width. Uses included nymph wing cases and backs for scuds, sowbugs, crayfish and shrimp. This is the stuff that John Barr uses on the backs and wing cases of many of his flies.
The mottled oak pattern is somewhat like the fine pattern on a gamebird feather.....smaller and finer variegation than the mottled bustard. Very buggy.
