A Parachute Hendrickson that has become a staple for us in recent years. Our old friend Bear Andrews brings us this one and his flies have found a home here at MRO. One of the best "hatch-matching" flies for this ever-important hatch.

This is a slick Parachute Hendrickson pattern that is always in the box starting in late March around here. Great silhouette and look to this imitation of the first big hatch of the season for most of us here in the East. The parachute style tends to work well in slower, slicker water whereas we still like the Beck's Hendrickson (thorax) for the slightly faster and choppier water.

Bear's Parachute Hendrickson is tied on a size 14 hook.
