Robrahn's Bluewater

We needed a truly large fly for Musky and Robrahn's Bluewater is it. Tied on an 8/0 Gamakatsu and measuring almost a foot long this is the big bad fall fly you are looking for.

With the large epoxy head the fly has a seductive pop and glide that musky just can’t handle. We carry the pattern in three key musky colors, the Skipjack color is a basic shad or Cisco color, the Costa Rican Hooker is a great Perch Pattern, and the Flamingo is our personal favorite a Pink and Red attractor that always does well for us. This pattern was originally designed as a Billfish pattern and though we normally fish these for musky sailfish and Marlin can’t get enough of these big meals, we normally add a second hook on the wire loop when fishing for Billfish.
