The Northeast quadrant of Ohio is the Southernmost range of the mighty Northern Pike. Populations are localized and mostly restricted to Lake Erie and northern rivers. Historically, the Division of Wildlife stocked northern pike into lakes across Ohio, but in 1991, the northern pike stocking program ended so all northern pike fisheries are now maintained by natural reproduction.
Our team, headed up by Pat Kelly have been the pioneers of fly fishing for Pike in the state of Ohio. Pat, along with his staff of guides, are some of the few in the business who guide and fish for these toothy predators successfully, and on a regular basis.
Ohio Pike Fly Fishing Trips

In fact, you will typically see more bald eagles than you will people. And certainly, they are going to show you some great pike-on-the-fly action!

Season: Pike has a split season, beginning in March through June and again in September through December.
