Rio's Pike and Musky Leaders are an ultra-stiff nylon leader attached to a tough, bite resistant, knottable wire shock tippet that is ideal for pike, musky and similar toothy species - total length of 7.5 ft. The wire bite is approximately 12" long and also tied on is a twist clip for ease of changing flies. Don't want the clip? Nip it off and tie away!
Available in 20lb or 30lb strength Rio Powerflex Wire bite tippet. The wire bite tippet is attached to a 30 lb class tapered leader.

Tippet diameter (to where wire is attached) is .019" and the butt section is .027". Butt section does contain a perfection loop for looping onto your fly line.
