You had better have protection...or else!
As you may have heard us preach, your leader is probably your most important piece of gear! If your leader isn't right, nothing else matters. It's really that simple. Having the proper tapered leader and proper tippet is the single most important part of the sport!!!
Here we have a listing of Fly Fishing Leaders geared towards Pike and Musky....or any toothy fish for that matter. All have proper butt sections as well as wire or hard mono shock or bite tippets up front. We have also listed some of the wire tippet materials as well as fly clips and such as it's always good to have extras just in case.
